Kide sauna ice resembles slushy spring ice. It brings a fresh new sensation and aroma to your sauna experience—wonderfully invigorating. As a sauna scent, Kide sauna ice is unique and offers an intriguing experience. The menthol crystals are produced synthetically from mint oil. Place a small crystal (approx. 0.5 cm) onto the hot sauna stones using a spoon, or add it to the sauna ladle before throwing water on the stones. For a pleasant aroma that spreads more gradually throughout the sauna, place a couple of small crystals into a water-filled sauna bowl or steamer vessel.
Kide sauna ice goes a long way, as the crystals are lightweight and only a tiny fragment is needed—a 15 g bag is enough for many wonderfully cool sauna sessions.

NOTE! Do not place directly on the electric heater elements – the crystal may catch fire, as it is made from peppermint essential oil!
Do not add the crystals to the sauna water, as they do not dissolve in cool water.

It is safest to handle the crystals in the sauna using a tool, such as a spoon. Store in a sealed container in a dry place; keep out of reach of children! The same menthol is found in various cooling gels and medicinal ointments used for conditions like muscle injuries. These sauna crystals also act as a potent decongestant, making them ideal for use during cold and flu season. Use with caution; start with a small amount, such as a single small crystal.
Note! When in contact with the skin, sauna ice causes an intensely cold sensation and also increases blood circulation in the area. This poses no risk to the skin, and the sensation fades after a short while.
