Reusable eco-friendly facial cleansing cloth.
Moisten the cloth with water or an eco-friendly makeup remover until soft. Gently wipe your face and eye area. Rinse and reuse. Collect used cloths in a small laundry bag. You can boil them in clean water with a few drops of lemon juice for a brightening effect; this keeps the cloths fresh and pleasant to use again and again.
After their long lifespan, the cloths can be disposed of by composting, and they decompose within 24 weeks.
Material: Pure cellulose-cotton fiber.
The facial cleansing cloth is made from Norwegian FSC-certified cellulose fiber (70%) and cotton fiber waste (30%) that cannot be utilized in further textile industry processing; this material puts that waste to good use. The material is manufactured using a patented process at two European factories that use only biodegradable, natural materials. Thanks to its porous structure, the facial cleansing cloth is highly absorbent. The material is durable and can be rinsed, washed, and even boiled for reuse.
The best way to use the product is to moisten it with water, a makeup remover, or an oil cleanser. You can then use it to cleanse your skin of accumulated dust and impurities. When removing makeup, you can rinse the cloth, add more cleanser, and continue. The material is completely lint-free, making it ideal for cleaning eyelashes as well. We recommend collecting the used and rinsed cloths in a nice bowl—such as a ceramic one—in your bathroom throughout the week. Once a week, you can easily place them in a pot and boil them thoroughly to ensure they are clean, fresh, and ready for reuse.
Facial cleansing wipes are disposed of as organic waste, but they can just as well be tucked into a flowerpot to decompose while providing steady moisture to your houseplants for a time. Decomposition takes 24 weeks.
The facial cleansing cloths (12 pcs) are packaged in a recyclable box. The cloths in this box last for approximately 3–4 months of use.
